Sous Vide Coffee
A slow-brewed coffee concentrate made by steeping coarsely-ground coffee in water in a sous vide bath, delicious served over ice.
Ingredients
- 80g medium-coarsely ground coffee
- 800ml water
Instructions
- Combine the ground coffee and water in a large ziplock bag, pushing out as much air as possible before sealing.
- Cook in a sous vide water bath for 8-12 hours at 63-68°C.
- Strain the coffee through a metal or paper filter to remove the grounds.
- This is a concentrated brew, so there’s no need to dilute it - it’s particularly good served over ice.
