Ingredients

  • 4 Wild Caught Salmon Fillets
  • 1 teaspoon of sweet paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil spray
  • 4 tablespoons of low sodium soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoons of maple syrup
  • Chopped spring onions or chives to garnish.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with some kitchen paper.
  3. Place the fillets in an ovenproof dish. Sprinkle the top with paprika and garlic powder, and season with salt and black pepper.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the maple syrup and soy sauce, then pour the mixture over the top of the salmon fillets.
  5. Lightly spray with olive oil spray.
  6. Place in the oven and bake for 12-14 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through. Halfway through cooking, remove the salmon and spoon the marinade over the top to ensure it stays juicy and flavourful.
  7. Serve with your choice of sides and enjoy!
